About
Built by Beekeepers, for Beekeepers
VarroaVault was born from a simple frustration: varroa mites are the number one threat to honey bee colonies, yet most beekeepers manage treatments with spreadsheets, sticky notes, and memory. We knew there had to be a better way.
Our Mission
We are building the protocol-driven management system that every beekeeper deserves. VarroaVault helps you plan treatments, track mite counts, measure efficacy, and make data-informed decisions about your colonies. Our goal is to reduce colony losses by giving beekeepers the tools to stay ahead of varroa rather than reacting when it is too late.
Why VarroaVault Exists
Every year, beekeepers lose an average of 30-40% of their colonies. Varroa destructor is the leading cause, but effective management is not about having the right treatment -- it is about timing, consistency, and follow-through.
VarroaVault turns best-practice protocols into actionable workflows. Instead of wondering when to treat or whether your last treatment worked, VarroaVault tells you when to check, grades your results, and adjusts your plan accordingly.
Whether you manage 2 hives in your backyard or 200 across multiple yards, VarroaVault scales with your operation and keeps every colony accounted for.
What We Believe
Data Over Guesswork
Every treatment decision should be backed by mite counts and efficacy data, not gut feelings.
Protocols, Not Panic
A planned treatment calendar beats reactive scrambling every time. Prevention starts with a schedule.
Rotate to Resist
Treatment rotation is critical to slowing resistance. VarroaVault tracks what you have used and when.
Community First
Built with input from beekeepers at every scale. Your feedback shapes every feature we build.
Get in Touch
