About Elanco / Veto-Pharma (Apivar)

Apivar is manufactured by Veto-Pharma, a French veterinary pharmaceutical company founded in 1994 that specializes in honey bee health products, now part of the Elanco animal health portfolio. Veto-Pharma is also the US distributor of Api-Bioxal, the EPA-registered oxalic acid product for Varroa control. Apivar is the most widely used synthetic acaricide for Varroa in the United States.
