Getting Started with the Dashboard

The VarroaVault Dashboard is your central command center for managing hives, tracking mite levels, and planning treatments across your entire operation.


Dashboard pages:

  • Overview: At-a-glance stats, yard health, alerts, and recent activity
  • Hives: Manage individual hives with strength ratings, mite counts, and inspection history
  • Yards: Track apiary locations with health scores, forage ratings, and per-yard statistics
  • Treatments: Log active and historical treatments with efficacy grading (A/B/C/D)
  • Mite Counts: Record mite counts with threshold alerts, trend indicators, and method comparison
  • Queens: Track queen age, marking color, performance, and replacement planning
  • Harvest: Log honey harvests with per-apiary production tracking and revenue estimates

    • Getting started:

  • Navigate to the Dashboard from the top navigation
  • Your Overview page shows key metrics and any items needing attention
  • Use the sidebar to navigate between management pages
  • The AI assistant is available on every dashboard page for contextual help

    • Tip: Start by adding your yards and hives, then log your first mite count. The dashboard will immediately start showing useful alerts and recommendations.
